Birds
European Greenfinch (Chloris chloris)
The Greenfinch is in the family Tits/Finches/Sparrows and is a small bird known for its bright green and yellow plumage. Males are more vibrant, especially in the breeding season, while females are duller. They are commonly found in gardens, woodlands, and parks across Europe. Their diet mainly consists of seeds and fruits. Greenfinches are social birds, often seen in flocks, and they have a distinctive, twittering song that makes them a joy to observe.
