European Honey Buzzard (Pernis apivorus)

The European Honey Buzzard (Pernis apivorus) is a medium-sized raptor, in the family Raptors/Owls, with a slender body and long wings. It has a distinctive head with a small crest. Found across Europe and Asia, it primarily feeds on wasp larvae. Its mottled brown plumage provides excellent camouflage in forests.
