Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo)

The Common Buzzard is a medium-sized raptor, in the family Raptors/Owls, with broad wings and a rounded tail. It has variable plumage, ranging from dark brown to pale, often with a distinctive pattern of light and dark markings. Found across Europe and parts of Asia, these birds of prey inhabit woodlands, open countryside, and cliffs. They have a distinctive, cat-like call and are skilled hunters, preying on small mammals, birds, and carrion.
