Black-winged Stilt (Himantopus himantopus)

The Black-winged Stilt (Himantopus himantopus) is a tall wading waterside bird recognised by its striking black and white plumage and incredibly long, thin red legs. Found across Europe, it prefers shallow wetlands and lagoons. Their diet includes insects, crustaceans, and small fish.
