The genus 'Oedemera' consists of beetles known as false blister beetles or pollen-feeding beetles. The name is most famously associated with the swollen-thighed beetle (Oedemera nobilis), but it is a broader genus with many different species. The black body and orange coloured thighs in this example are not normal for this genus.
