The Poplar Leaf Beetle (Chrysomela populi) is a medium-sized beetle, about 10-12mm long, characterised by a metallic black-green body and bright red wing cases (elytra) with a black spot at the tip. It feeds on the leaves of poplars and willows and is found throughout Europe.
