The Oriental Cockroach (Blatta orientalis) is a large, dark brown or black species of cockroach known for living in damp areas. It is also referred to as a "waterbug" or "black cockroach". They are flightless beetles, despite males having wings that cover about three-quarters of their abdomen and females having no wings.
