Beetles
The Spring Dumbledore Beetle, previously classified as Geotrupes vernalis and now Trypocopris vernalis, is a type of dung beetle found in open and wooded habitats. It is a dull black beetle with a metallic sheen that can be blue, green, or pale pink, and it has a rounded body and clearly punctured pronotum. The beetles are active in the spring and autumn and feed on animal dung and other decaying organic matter, helping to clean the environment.
