Bees/Wasps

Yellow-legged Nomad-bee (Nomada succincta)

Nomad bees (Nomada spp.) are small, brightly colored, cleptoparasitic bees found across Europe. They lay their eggs in the nests of solitary mining bees, with their larvae consuming the host’s pollen stores. Often wasp-like in appearance, they are active in spring and summer, visiting flowers for nectar.
