Wood Borer Wasp (Trypoxylon sp.)

Trypoxylon sp. are slender, solitary wasps found worldwide and often called “thread-waisted wasps.” They nest in hollow stems, cavities or by boring into wood. Their nest is then filled with paralyzed spiders for their larvae to feed on.
