Western Honey Bee (Apis mellifera)

The Honey Bee is a vital pollinator with a golden, striped body and small wings. Found worldwide, it lives in organized colonies producing honey and wax. Feeding on nectar and pollen, honey bees play an essential role in sustaining ecosystems and agriculture.
