Grohmann's Yellow-Resin Bee (Icteranthidium grohmanni)

Icteranthidium grohmanni is a small, solitary bee native to southeastern Europe and parts of the Mediterranean. Recognizable by its black body with bright yellow markings, it nests in cavities, often using resin or plant material to construct brood cells. Active in summer, it visits a variety of flowers for nectar and pollen.
