Cuckoo Wasp (Stilbum cyanurum)

The Cuckoo Wasp (Stilbum cyanurum) is a species of cuckoo wasp known for its brilliant, metallic colours and parasitic behaviour. It is one of the larger species of cuckoo wasps, reaching about 20 mm in length. This cuckoo wasp is found in Southern Europe, and favours warm climates and sunny areas, often found in woodlands and scrublands.
