Field Cuckoo Bumblebee (Bombus campestris)

Cuckoo Bumblebees are parasitic bees that infiltrate the nests of other bumblebee species. Lacking worker bees, they rely on the host colony to raise their young. Found worldwide, they often mimic their hosts' appearance.

The Corfu Nature Website currently contains over 6,000 photographs of  more than 1,100 wildlife species found on Corfu.
