Wood Mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus)

The Wood Mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus) is a small rodent found across Europe and parts of Asia. It has a sleek, brown coat, large ears, and a long tail. Measuring about 8 cm in body length, it prefers woodland, grassland, and gardens. Wood mice are nocturnal, feeding on seeds, fruits, and insects. They are known for their agility and can jump considerable distances.
