Nose-Horned Viper (Vipera ammodytes)

The Nose-Horned Viper (Vipera ammodytes), also commonly known as the 'horned viper' or 'sand viper', is widely considered the most dangerous venomous snake in Europe. Its most distinguishing feature is a prominent "horn" or appendage on the tip of its snout, which is unique among European vipers.
