Javelin Sand Boa (Eryx jaculus)

The Javelin Sand Boa (Eryx jaculus) is a non-venomous snake species native to Eastern Europe, that typically reach lengths of 40 to 60 cm, but some specimens can grow up to 80 cm. It is a member of the Boidae family and serves as the type species for its genus, Eryx.
