Ionian Wall Lizard (Podarcis ionicus)

The Ionian Wall Lizard (Podarcis ionicus) is a small, agile reptile native to the Ionian Islands. It has a slender body with greenish-brown scales and a distinctive pattern of black and white markings along its sides. Its underbelly is typically lighter, often white or yellow. Found in rocky habitats and open woodlands, it feeds on insects and other small invertebrates.
