Brown Rat (Rattus norvegicus)

The Brown Rat (Rattus norvegicus) is a large, adaptable rodent found worldwide in urban, rural, and coastal habitats. It has brownish-grey fur, a blunt snout, and a long, scaly tail. Omnivorous and highly intelligent, it thrives near human settlements and is known for its burrowing and strong swimming abilities.
