The Balkan Wall Lizard (Podarcis tauricus ionicus) is a member of the group 'Podarcis' which look very similar to lizards of the genus 'Lacerta'. They are commonly known as wall lizards and are native to Europe, with most species restricted to the Mediterranean region.
