🇬🇧 The Balkan green lizard is a species of lizard in the family Lacertidae. It is the most widespread of the Balkans lizard species and is found in Greece. Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, sandy shores, arable land, pastureland, plantations, and rural gardens. It is threatened by habitat loss.

🇬🇷 Η βαλκανική πράσινη σαύρα είναι ένα είδος σαύρας της οικογένειας Lacertidae. Είναι το πιο διαδεδομένο από τα βαλκανικά είδη σαύρας και απαντάται στην Ελλάδα. Οι φυσικοί του βιότοποι είναι θαμνώδης βλάστηση μεσογειακού τύπου, αμμώδεις ακτές, καλλιεργήσιμη γη, βοσκοτόπια, φυτείες και αγροτικοί κήποι.
