Balkan Green Lizard (Lacerta trilineata)

The Balkan Green Lizard (Lacerta trilineata) is a species of lizard in the family 'Lacertidae'. It is the most widespread of the Balkan lizard species and is found in Greece and Corfu. Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, sandy shores, arable land, pastureland, plantations, and rural gardens. It is, unfortunately, threatened by habitat loss.

The Corfu Nature Website currently contains over 6,000 photographs of  more than 1,100 wildlife species found on Corfu.
If you find something new that is not in the database, please submit it to the website.
