Feathered Brindle (Aporophyla australis)

The Feathered Brindle (Aporophyla australis) is a moth species with a wingspan of 36–42 mm, found in western and southern Europe. It inhabits coastal areas like sand dunes and shingle beaches, flies from August to October, and is attracted to light and sugars. The caterpillar stage overwinters and feeds on low-growing plants such as sea-campion and grasses.
