Common Brindled Brown (Agonopterix heracliana)

The Common Brindled Brown (Agonopterix heracliana) is a small European moth with mottled brown forewings and pale hindwings. It flies mainly from autumn to spring and often overwinters as an adult. The larvae feed on umbellifer plants such as hogweed and cow parsley, living within spun leaves.
