Southern Small White (Pieris mannii)
A medium sized, white butterfly in the family Pieridae (White, yellow butterflies)
Flying in March | April | May | June | July | and again in | October
The Southern Small White (Pieris mannii) can be mistaken for the Small White (Pieris rapae) but the forewing spot is larger and squarish or even crescent-shaped rather than round. The apex marking extends further down the outer margin, reaching as far as the spot.
