The Pygmy Skipper (Gegenes pumilio) and the Mediterranean Skipper (Gegenes nostrodamus) so closely resemble each other that it is nearly impossible to make a reliable identification and these differences are so variable, and difficult to see, that it makes identification very unreliable.
