Rüppell's Warbler (Curruca ruppeli)

The Rüppell’s Warbler (Curruca ruppeli) is in the family Warblers/Flycatchers and is a small, insectivorous songbird found in southeastern Europe and the Middle East. Males have grey upperparts, black throats, and white underparts, while females are duller. Active in scrub and open woodlands, it feeds on insects and berries. Its melodious song marks the breeding season, and it migrates to Africa in winter.
