Hoopoe (Upupa epops)

The hoopoe is an eye-catching bird with striking plumage, featuring a mix of cinnamon-orange and bold black-and-white stripes on its wings and tail. It has a distinctive, long, curved bill and a prominent crest that fans out like a crown. This bird is often seen foraging on the ground for insects, using its bill to probe the soil. Its unique appearance and characteristic "oop-oop-oop" call make it a memorable sight in open, grassy areas.
