Beetles

The Whirligig Beetle (Gyrinus sp.) is a small, semi-aquatic insect known for its characteristic habit of swimming rapidly in swirling circles on the surface of freshwater ponds, lakes, and slow-moving streams. These beetles have unique biological adaptations that allow them to thrive both above and below the water's surface.
