Beetles
The Lixus weevil is a slender, elongated beetle with a distinctive snout, belonging to the Curculionidae family. Typically brown or gray, it often blends in with plant stems. These weevils are known for their larvae, which bore into plant tissues, especially in stems or roots. Some species are considered agricultural pests, while others are used in biological control. They are commonly found in temperate and subtropical regions.
