Bees/Wasps

Sand Wasp (Palmodes occitanicus)

Sand Wasps are slender, solitary wasps found in sandy or loose soil habitats. Females dig burrows and provision them with caterpillars or other insects for their larvae. Known for their precise digging and graceful flight, they are non-aggressive to humans and play an important role in controlling insect populations.
