Mediterranean House Gecko (Hemidactylus turcicus)

🇬🇧 The Mediterranean House Gecko is a small, nocturnal lizard common in Corfu and Greece. It has a pale, translucent body with bumpy skin and large, lidless eyes and is known for its ability to climb walls and ceilings, where it hunts insects at night.

🇬🇷 Το Mediterranean House Gecko είναι μια μικρή, νυχτόβια σαύρα κοινή στην Κέρκυρα και την Ελλάδα. Έχει ένα χλωμό, ημιδιαφανές σώμα με ανώμαλο δέρμα και μεγάλα μάτια χωρίς βλέφαρα και είναι γνωστό για την ικανότητά του να σκαρφαλώνει σε τοίχους και ταβάνια, όπου κυνηγά έντομα τη νύχτα.
